Rex & Lesley have been together for a long time (i think it’s been 8 yrs), so as you can see from the pictures, they’re as comfortable with each other as any other couple should be after being together that long!They met in Uni while doing the same course…so I guess they have a lot in common to talk about

It’s now William & Fiona’s turn! Their wedding was the first for both sides of the family, so it was much anticipated. In this particular wedding, we were hired purely as a second (well, perhaps third as so many photographers out there) shooters, and we love being able to step back and capture all the emotions and actions happening on the day.

They were initially planning to have their wedding on July 20th..the same day of our wedding…..ha!..talking about coincidence. But the date was then moved one week earlier

FYI, William and Fiona reside in the states and flew to Jakarta to formally have their marriage reception. Or, as some people put it… to please their parents.

First stop, the groom’s preparation

Looking good… it was a proud and happy moment for the groom’s parents as William hadn’t been back in his hometown for the last 7 years!..So he’s back for a good cause =P

We were introduced to William & Fiona as soon as Farida knew that we would fly to Jakarta at the same time as her sis got married. Btw, I forgot to mention, their family owns an established and well-known Professional Photo Lab in Jakarta. Their works include official printing for most of Indonesian President and higher rank in military …impressive work!

They not only own the photo lab, they also have rooms for professional photo studio which they used for their first meeting.

The main photographers were all close friends of the bride’s father and Fiona has known them since she was little..they’re all veterans in the industry and we have as much respect and feel privileged to be able to work alongside them.

They planned to have a quick outdoor photo session. But they decided not to as they couldn’t stand the heat (yupe it was really hot outside). We were also given a quick 1/2 hour to do location shoot..we just used the facilities in the studio!It’s very rare that we got a chance to shoot in an indoor studio..

Kris & Shelly had their wedding ceremony in Sydney back in March, and they flew to Jakarta to have the celebration party with friends and family back home. We’ve been privileged to capture both events..we certainly wouldn’t want to miss attending their big days. A joyous occasion as they don’t get to see most of their friends and families often.

All the best guys…it was good fun being part of this wedding….next upcoming… William & Fiona’s!

Since we came back from our Jakarta trip, we are asked many times whether we were OK over there (FACT: Jakarta is one of the most polluted city in the world. Of course it has very nice delicious polluted food too :D). This was the session when Wiki was really sick. So if you think the below photos are great, all credits go to the models.

We managed to do one family session for our best-friend’s family. Have to tell you, it’s a nice break from doing wedding routines ^_^

We did the session in one nice afternoon in Jakarta, just around their family home. It’s a nice harbor area at north of Jakarta

Last but not least..Marina (my best friend since high-school) and hubby Nic. Marina has been helping us a lot during our latest trip in Jakarta..and we always had good times catching on gossips..thanks dear!
